Happy, happy news!
WOW--today we got the best news! We found out that the cat scan showed that my esophagus is CLEAR. There was no sign of tumors or masses or growth anywhere, including my lymph nodes. Can you believe that? You probably all can--because you all have had so much faith and hope for me. It was me who became the doubting Thomas in the last several days...so thank you for believing. There are still tests to come--an endoscopy which may show more details than the cat scan did...but for now we have GREAT reasons to rejoice! I have been so afraid to hear the results of the scan, so it has taken me some time this afternoon to actually digest these results. Spence and I are so relieved and so thankful. Truly we have many reasons to rejoice at this Thanksgiving time. Thank you again for caring so deeply, and for being there to support us through this nerve-wracking time. I know there are other tests to come, but for now, we are just WAY happy! :) Love to all of you and a very happy Thanksgiving, Louise

I can't believe it!!! Yea!!! What a miracle. I've been soo worried. We are down in Mexico and I had to find someone with a computer so I could check up on you. I am so happy. The rest of my vacation is going to be great. I love you.
ReplyDeleteTruly something to be thankful for! I am so so happy to hear this news. Much love to you and the family.
ReplyDeleteHooray! Hooray! That's really great news.
ReplyDeleteOh, Webe, I can't begin to tell you what joy and relief your news brings. Last night I had one former student remind me that there ARE miracles and today another reminded me of what Johnny had told me back in August - that even if the odds of healing were as bad as 1 in 100, that with the power of prayer and positive energy directed your way, you could and would be that ONE to overcome this. You certainly have a huge number of people in all corners of the nation, and even the world, who love you so much and have been praying for you non-stop. I'm so touched to think of how courageously you have fought this battle. You truly are a fighter, my dear friend and I am so glad you have relentlessly worked to prevail over this ugly challenge. I will remember this Thanksgiving for a long, long time and truly give thanks for you and your news.
ReplyDeleteLove, Deb
