Feeling nauseated is probably one of the worst feelings in the world (at least that's my experience). I hope the medication they are giving you to fight it will help soon. I love the quote you have by Orson F. Whitney on your blog...you have been so patient through this - and have had such a great spirit.....you are a wonderful example to us all. Let's get this over with so you can feel better again - I am thinking of you and praying for you.

Love and hugs,

JanetJanet Rohnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01572998699099999353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4411084737254635629.post-67700803030821833302010-09-25T14:01:35.209-07:002010-09-25T14:01:35.209-07:00Pollyanna has always been one of my favorite movie...Pollyanna has always been one of my favorite movies. I know that you always try to be upbeat no matter how badly you feel so we aren't aware of how awful it is. You should come up to us and upchuck on us - then we'd understand :-) Take care, you are so loved by so many of us. We are still stuffing the prayer box at the temple for you. But I hope this stage doesn't last long. A friend of Chloe's who had cancer (which she NO LONGER has by the way) had the exact same kind of days.. so I think it is a fairly typical reaction to the chemo... Are they gong to have you do the same program next week? (radiation? chemo?) ...what do the doctors say?
Let me know
Love you so much,
SueSusan Rice Lincolnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704162917402729072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4411084737254635629.post-31446723037469686312010-09-25T07:44:36.635-07:002010-09-25T07:44:36.635-07:00Hi Louise,

Please know how much we love you, and that you are literally in our prayers every single day.
I found an article on how ginger helps nausea for chemo patients. Evidently, an extensive study was done. Ginger comes as an herb tea, so it's easier than chewing and swallowing. I can pick some up for you if you would like to try. Perhaps, making a mild tea of it and putting through your feeding tube may help. The site for the article is http://babyboomeradvisorclub.com/2009/05/16/use-ginger-to-combat-nausea-from-chemotherapy-or-an-upset-stomach/ Probably need to copy/paste this, because the blog probably doesn't take the actual link.
Again, we love you, and are looking forward to you getting past this not-so-fun time. Hugs and kisses to you, Dear Friend. Love, Tamara, Steve, and Tahlea :-)Tamara J. Is the drip to feed you? It isn't the chemo, is it? Did you still have radiation yesterday and did they hydrate you again?Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16720839247634118337noreply@blogger.com
